YOTEL Glasgow runs the cabin model the brand built its name on: small rooms, engineered hard, with an adjustable bed that folds between sofa and sleeping position. Storage is built in, the bathroom is a moulded unit, nothing exists without a reason.

Check-in is largely self-service and staff work the floor rather than a desk. Shared space takes the pressure off the rooms — a lounge and bar where guests work, eat and wait out the weather.

The building sits in the middle of Glasgow, minutes from Central Station and the main shopping streets. For a short city stop, or a night either side of a train, the arithmetic works.
